Cooking and Starbucks: Two of the Ways I Spend My Free Time

I realized yesterday when I posted the job advertisement for another native English speaker that can work at my school that I really haven't updated my travel blog in a while.

I really won't make a big update today. Instead, I'll be showing some of the small things I do during the weekends when I have free time. Usually, since my typical work week has me clocking a minimum of 50 hours, I don't have much time to do this type of thing, which is why I save these small enjoyments for the weekend.

In time, I'll write a more comprehensive update about my life on this blog. I've already written a Q&A and three articles for the International TEFL Academy, which is the school I received my TEFL certification from. When the academy posts my submissions, then I'll include the links on this blog.

But, without further ado, check out my free time:

One way I like to spend my free time is by cooking. Half of my cooking is inspired by recipes I watch on Gordon Ramsay's YouTube channel which I then adapt according to the ingredients that are available (in case you haven't known, Russia is currently under international sanctions and self-sanctions, which sometimes limits what I can buy).

Gordon Ramsay's Scrambled Eggs
(I've included tomato, avocado, red onion and garlic)

Gordon Ramsay's Bloody Mary Sauce with Linguine
(it took a while to find the linguine)

Italian-seasoned Flatbread with Red Onion and Garlic
(Goes well with peanut butter, honey or kimchi sauce)

And then there's the things I like to do around the city. Usually it's attending sports matches (soccer or hockey), going to Starbucks with friends or just walking through the park, also with friends.
